New to the club need some ideas !

Okay I have a 97 ek hatch I've owned it for maybe 6 months now and its pretty bone stock and I've been wanting to do upgrades but not sure what to start with if anyone can help please comment or message me or even if you have parts let me know !

There are so many possibilities. You should browse through the forum and search through google images to at least get a rough idea of what you may prefer. But when in doubt, start with the basics. Make sure the engine is running soundly. Handle any needed maintenance before beginning to spend money on the unnecessary. There's no point in doing cosmetic work if your car runs poorly.

^^ HeX nailed it on the head. If the car is running soundly and is up to date on maintenance, look into various parts for each system of the vehicle. Look for what appeals to you. If you like a car that's low to the ground, look into suspension parts to make it low. Find out what the best options are for every modification you want to do. If you're purely interested in all go and no show, then look up motor swaps, turbo set ups, etc.

Thank you for replying and well I wanna lean more towards showing and not much of the going. My engine and everything shifts and runs smooth but I just need a little body damage fixed on the right passenger quarter panel and a couple motor mounts needs to be replaced sucks not knowing to many people close by me that know there s**t !
