New to the forums

Hello,
I'm new to the forums, but not new to automotive forums or cars. I've owned my share of cars of the years and spent way to much money on them. Since my first car was a civic (d16 turbo)I have been looking for one for a while as a project and finally found one for a good price.
My current plans are to make it a DD and try to get good mpg from it, while keeping the miles off my other car. Knowing me though, it wont take long till I start packing on the mods. I just have no idea what way I want to go with it.

The cars kind of a bucket right now. I'll get some pictures up when the sun is back out.

This is where she is at so far. I pretty much have it all ripped a part. Who ever owned it before treated the car like s***. The armrest and door panels were all covered in a thick layer of human sweat and dirt (simple green to the rescue!). The carpet was stained and sun bleached in spots, the roof liner is almost black with dirt. The doors were out of alignment, as was the hood and trunk. It had those s***ty $40 ebay coilovers on it, and the guy that put them on only put in the springs... So it had like a 6 inch drop all the way around. Sadly this is what I wanted lol. Something cheap I can have as a project
