Replace the entire engine. You can pickup a d15 for like 300 bucks. Bushings Arent that hard to change. And since ur at it buy an si tranny and call it a day.

Yea but waiting on settlement that could take months. Its just a daily driver to get me back and forth. Not trying to race or have fastest civic out. Just want it to last for a short while. Thank you guys for responding. Where could I get the engine and tranny from. Sorry very new to hondas.

I just recently got hit by a drunk driver use to have a 03 neon...yea i know. So I needed to get a car asap because I work and go to school. Long story short I found a 93 civic sedan 5 speed with some body damage for 700. Found out it needs valve over gasket, rack and pinion, all bushing gone in rear end, and needs clucth. So question is should I put money into it or consider it junk and I got taken advantage of. Oh yea has about 178,400 miles. Will post pics later. Also I am a female so want to know a little about my car. Not trying to race or anything just opions on basic mods just to look nice and hopefully keep running.
How do I post pics sorry a noobie?! Also have a problem I changed valve cover gasket and was told to go and spray engine bay. After spraying engine my clutch started to slip now is this just coincedence and clutch finally gone or did water get into something?

Junkyards and craigslist. If u get a d15b7 block cause most junkyards won't have the whole engine anymore. Grab the b7 block and a z6 head and do a mini me while ur at it. You'll get more torque and roughly 20-25 hp search forums for the how to for mini me. But yeah best of luck with it. Keep us posted on what's going down
