The title says it all; I recently bought (in September) a 97' civic DX coupe for $3,250, and I'd like to mod it now that I'm broke and unemployed.

It's got an auto trans, which is okay for now, but I'd like to swap it for a manual trans sometime. Everything is stock, excluding a Walbro 225 lph fuel pump (the original died about a week after I got the car, so I count that as maintenance).

As far as my plans go, I'd like to keep the SOHC and do a low-boost turbo setup . My priority for mods is 1- Suspension, 2- Power, 3- Aesthetics.

The paint is in decent condition. The original owner apparently hit a "big dog" doing "around 40", but it only damaged the hood, which was replaced and repainted by what seems to be Maaco. there is a bit... a lot of overspray on the front bumper insert (the grill type thing in the bumper, idk what it's technical name is,) and the paint on the hood looks low-quality and is distorted from engine heat. The glove compartment is broken and won't open, so I'm not 100% sure where/how/when the original owner fixed the hood.

It came with some UFO-lookin' pop-ons from Walmart or something, so I lost those after a few days of driving. The rust/black/gray steelies got old after a few weeks, so I bought some silver Rustoleum and gloss black off-brand rattle-can paint and painted the steelies. They are less of an eyesore now, but hopefully I can get some white 16" Buddy Club SF wheels in the near future (after a job).

That pretty much sums up my plans; I hope this community treats me well, lol.
