Hey guys. i finally decided to join the site instead of just browsing around like i always used to do. I've had a thing for civics for about the past 3 or 4 years now, and i finally have enough money saved up to buy one. I've found a couple near me that are in my price range, and i was wondering if you guys could help me out on if you think the prices on them are fair or not.

Well heres the first one. I have him talked down to $1800 on it

And heres the second. I have this one talked down to $1400

edit: found this one too. seems like the cleanest one i've found. im thinking about this one now.

What do you guys think of theres? Any opinions on to which you think is the better deal? Thanks!

dude, first one all the way. just in body/wheels/paint to match up to the first one, you'd spend MUCH more than just 400 dollars..

and tranny's not a big thing.. just gotta find the right deal on a nice one.

Ohnestly I think it really comes down to what style yu like more. 92-95 96-00
Because I read both of em and they both need paint, and rims are no big get hx si or ls webs for cheap and ur still looking clean. Personaly I'm a 5th gen guy and assuming everything works on both cars aside from the tranny on te ek.. They are both about even.

The reason I say the ek needs paint is because he said his new fender needs paint and the paint on the car is faded (black car+Florida sun) yu won't be able to just paint match the fender if yu do te roper color it will Stan out especially in the sun. So they both need paint.

i say go with the second one im a 5th gen guy also some things to consider for the 5th gen over the 6th gen you want to choose...less miles, obviously cheaper, stock rims so your dont have ones that are huge right away (unless you like that style) but they are the same either way....both fair prices (IMO) just comes down to what body style you like most like civicfan stated

they are both bad. the first has tranny issues, and its gonna cost you money down the line to install the new one. the second one sounds more promosing, but you have to check the interior, also y0ou need to find out what kind of coilovers it has, if it has cheap ones, its gonna cost you more down the line. either way, save that money and buy yourself a car in better condition off the bat. one that has less issues.
