Hey guys, I'm new to the site and to the world of Vtec n JDM cars and parts. I'm an Ex-Muscle car guy. Haha
I will have pics up soon, but for now i Have a question.
I have an extra engine around the garage and wanted to try to do my head gasket my self. the engine is a d15b7. So i got the head off, cleaned it all up, had the valves re-done, and now i'm about to reinstall the head to the block and both outer pistons *left and right* are half way to the top and the 2 pistons in the middle are all the way down. Is that the proper placement for them to be? Someone help me out, this is my first head gasket job and I'd like to do it right
any imput would be great, but if your gonna put me down and tell me to take it to a shop or that i Fail, save your time and don't even reply. Thanks to those who will be helpful in advance. Again, I'm Nick and from Watermill/Southampton Eastern Longisland NY.
