new to this site need some help

So I just recently bought a1991 Honda civic hatchback with a 1.5l and it
Has next to no power and I don't know anything about imports so any ideas on how to get more
Power out of it?

ditch the motor for a 1.8 or 2.0 or a 2.2

Depends on your power goals and budget. Your stock motor needs a turbo or supercharged slapped on there to get any real noticeable power out of it. Or nitrous for that matter. Otherwise swap in something better. There is a ton of info on this site. Just read around.
