new turbo

Alright im kinda new to this turbo thing but im thinking of getting one but i would need to know what are the basics that i would need with the kit for it not to blow up on the spot. also i know there are a few things that will make things go smoother (ie. Injectors, ecu, fuel pump) is there anything else that will make it easier for the turbo to go to a higher psi?
