Hello all, after several times checking out this site, I finally signed up. Yay! I'm Hoang, currently staying in SoCal. I have an 05 Civic, and lately I started modding it. I've added HID light, and rims so far. My upcoming mod is lowering it, but I have questions. Is there anyone in here has aftermarket spring w/ stock shock in their ride? How is it? How long have you been having this setup? Thanks

i have on a older honda it isnt to bad depending how low you want to go(i was lowered 1 1/2 inches) eventually you will want to upgrade because your shock/strut it fine tuned for compression and rebound to that specific spring and height. which will cause a little more of bumpiness and weight shift and heavy drop over speed bumps etc..

Seems like you guys don't favor stock shocks/aftermarket springs setup. I already got the springs I ordered but haven't put them in yet because I've decided to get aftermarket shocks. Anybody has recommendation shocks? The springs I have are Eibach Sportline

Tokico blues or KYB AGX's would be at about their drop limit with those springs. Koni yellows are pretty much good with anything. Pricewise the Konis will be a bit more, but worth it. Thats what I was going to go with to pair with my H&R springs, but I work with a guy who knows a guy so my AGXs were free lol.
