I am looking to boost my 99 Si. i think i have been talked out of N/A.
Has anyone used or had experience with this product? I live in Ca so i need it to be smog legal. is it possible to get more smog legal power in the same price range?=)
this car wont' give you as much hp as other kit out there..but it's one fo the safest kit and reliable kit out there. If you're looking to get those. check us out at the sponsor's forum as we're running special on those =)

uh.. then i dont know what to tell you besides boosting. im not from cali and dont know how things work over there. but is there like an annual test you have to take? cuz if there is... boost then when that time comes... take s**t off or something. but thats stupid. so i dont know what to tell you besides getting that kit... then maybe getting a bigger turbocharger.

We have really strict laws. If the aftermarket part does not come with a Ca CARB O.E. # then you wont pass smog at all. plus cops will be able to tag you for it. :angryred:

stick with greddy. and just switch the turbo out for something more powerful... does anyone know if the CA Carb OE # is attached to the turbo?

unless you are building your motor, the greddy kit and turbo itself should provide plenty of power and boost for you stock motor. I bought my greddy kit used and it has proven to be the best investment thus far.
I had an LsVTEC in my previous car and the turbo makes so much more torque and power for the money.

good luck!

If i were to add the BOV and FMI in the future would it void my CARB exemption.:2confused

I can't personally see how it would since none of those parts really affect emmisions. but i thought i'd ask.

go with greddy, I got the same kit sitting in my room at home, just waiting to dig up the rest of the money I need for an EMS with wideband and full dyno tune.

any other opinions.
someone recomended the edelbrock performer x kit. great kit but $3,900 compared to $2,250 for the greddy.
