ok guys now i know i might get flammed for this but its just something i need to know
i did a search and came up with nothing
i wanna know what exactly a "computer chip upgrade is" for a B16A

Just what it sounds like. It's an upgraded chip in your ecu. Where did you find this?
 


it increases the timing curve and makes your injectors squirt more fuel

if ur good u can basically do the samething with a piggyback system on ur car, but u gotta be knowing what doing

no thanks for me. Inefficient and a ricer mod imho. If you have the engine to justify the extra fuel/timing, then by all means... but if your stock with a chip... dieeeee

If you're stock, there's no reason to change the chip. Most companies that chip your ECU require a mod list also, so that they can match the specs on the chip to what you've done. A programmable ECU or piggybacks are a wiser (and probably cheaper) way to go unless your mods are completely finished (as if that ever happens.)
