newbie - thinking about an 08 SI

I'm thinking about one of these for a daily driver. They look great and supposed to be fun to drive. Not sure if it will be a 2 or 4 door yet.

Are there any issues with them like problem areas i should know about?

How are they in the winter in snow? i would get winter tires.

What kind of mileage are you all getting in these?

Also, would i need to run high octane in one or can i use 87?

they're good cars man as long as you take care of the maintenance the car will take care of you

Look out for the Third gear grinding issue. See if the TSB has been done on the car. Google it for more info.

If you can't find answers here, you'd probably be better off on 8thcivic forums since that's oriented more towards the 8th gen or Honda-Tech since that is such a bigger forum than CC.
