Newbie with dash/tail lights question

Hey guys, I searched but couldn't find a thread regarding this issue (though it may well be on the site somewhere)--my dash and tail lights are out, and replacing both the underdash and underhood fuses has not fixed the problem. I'm guessing it may be a wiring issue, as I bought my car (94 Civic Coupe EX) with a salvage title due to theft, and there are some dangling wires near the underdash fuse panel. However, I've owned it for over a year, and these lights just went out a few days ago. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

sounds like those might have been an aftermarket security system, as far as ur connections go they might be in ur multifunction switch, but you can always get a test light out and see if ur getting power that way.

Thanks, Bull -- the headlights are working fine though, so is it possible for the problem to be in that switch and still only affect the dash and tail lights?

by dash light do you mean gauge cluster and climate control? or just gauge cluster?
