Hey, I've been reguarly checking out CC for a few months now, but I've just become a member. In the summer I bought a 99 Civic SiR, as I live in Canada. It's pretty much stock right now except for an Alpine Deck and 2 12" subs. Here are some pics of my car, its not much right now . Any input as to what I should do next would be great . . .

first off, welcome to CC...car looks clean...start off with the basic stuff, suspension, i/h/e....i wouldnt worry about rims right now, i think SI's look great lowered on stock rims...and personally, i love how black civics look with black housing headlights...anyways, those are just my thoughts

welcome! nice car you got there, very clean. i think removing the front honda emblem and holder off the grill makes the car look much cleaner. most people with sir or US si done that to their car.

i would definetly start with some suspension if i was you..its a good place to start to give your car better handling and a more aggresive look...i would get a nice coilover setup with a full camber kit if i were you...

yea I was planning on removing the front emblem this weekend, but Im not sure if its worth all the work of taking off the front bumper, just to remove the emblem. Will the car actually look that much better ?

depends on your tast I think i your going to remove the emblem you should get mess grill also or change over to a color H logo

Front bumper is super easy to take off... I personally think it is well worth it. It will probably take you 3 - 5 min to get it off if that.

Welcome! Dude, whatever you do, for the love of god,leave your emblems stock. Don't be tempted by the rice.

hahahhaha, dont worry about that, Im definately keeping my civic clean. Prolly start off with small basic things that I can do myself like removing emblem, painting calipers, and intake. I got a question, when one of my buddies got an intake for his crx, his car sounded so much better. Do all intakes change the sound of your engine/car ?

Buying aftermarket calipers that happen to be painted = not rice
Painting OEM calipers so they look like aftermarket calipers = rice
