Hey sup guyz my name is kc and im from martinsburg west virginia and i have acouple of ?ions. I just got a 92 hatch and i love it so much better then my accord i had, but what i wanted to ask is i want to turbo it but dont know what i need frist. im kinda new to the honda game. I know a lil but not much, but heres what i got D16z6 1.6 vtec SOHC, timeing gear advance 4, headers exhaust,i have no ac or pwoer steering,The guy i got it off of said he put cams in it and it was turbo befor but i really dont think it was,also have a short ram air intake,short shifter. Thats it, if u guys could help me out and let me know where i should start. thanks guys

Start by scouring google...

Then once u understand how forced induction works then we can help u finalize your build!

alot of people have turboed a Z6 so there is gonna be plenty of stuff on this subject. most would say what you would need depends on how much boost you would wana run. but i myself says build the internals and do it right the first time so you wont have to do it a second!

the first thing id look at is how many miles are on that motor?

I understand how forced induction works, i just dont know where to start at cuz i pretty much have a stock motor

there is 150,532 on motor, and i really dont know how much boost to run. i mean i want it to be quick but im not goin to go out here and race everyone. lets just say i want to be fast enough to rape most mustangs lol

you need to come up with power goals budget and mechanical knowledge before anybody can tell you what you need
also you need to do some research look up turbo builds and go threw the forced induction category on here and research what parts people used on builds that have the same goals yours do.

Emerian said it. Need to find out how much cash you can spend and how much power you want. I'll tell you now though if you don't want to build the internals just make sure to compression test the engine and probably don't plan to go too far over 200whp for the sake of reliablility
