nitro help

hello Im planning to buy nitro for my honda civic 96 sohc vtec model. the entire engine is all stock except for some bolt-on like k&N air filter, header, high tension wire. Can I install nitro on a stock engine? what brand and model suited for my stock engine? how much HP gain by using nitro on stock engine? thanks in advance

Yes you can install it on a stock motor.

Brand/Model they dont make it to 'fit' a brand/model.

HP gain is up to you. But on stock internals I wouldnt go more than a 50 shot (50HP).

I suggest you research and read up on it A LOT more before you do this. You are missing some pretty basic info.

SO what is the answer. I have heard (and seen posted on here) that a 50 shot is the most you want to go on a stock motor.

I wouldn't do more than a 50 but my sohc has 120k miles on it, and as 92 said "minor tuning"

as long as the timing is retarded the right amont you can spay up to a 75, me & my bro has dont in on many occations. We even sprayed the nuts out of a 1996 Civic LX sedan automatic (75 shot).

Its ok if someone with the knowledge install the kit & tune the car for him. Now if its him installing the kit I dont reccomend over a 15shot to anyone who calls it nitro
