ANY shot could blow your motor.. to just say a b16 means nothing.. picture the most POS beaten on b16 you have ever seen now picture a brand new in crate b16a2 from Honda.. obviously the conditions of these two motors and the abuse they will take is VERY different..
you should read the nitrous FAQ thread.. it has a lot of good basic information
if you are running a stock ecu.. colder plugs.. retard the timing a little bit and run higher octane gas.. you could be ok with that big of a shot... i have run 50-75 on my y8
things to watch are the fuel system.. the aditional demand for fuel does tend to put some wear on the fuel pump.. nitrous causes problems when you lose fuel and run lean..
another thing that will more than likely get addressed it the clutch.. ive blown up two trannys and a couple clutches..
you will make good power and torque.. BUT keep in mind as with ANY power adder.. you could break the first time..
thanks for the info, ill be getting the Nitrous kit tomarow, before i spray im getting a full tune-up and colder spark plugs, since im running a p72 ECU on my b16, im guessing that should only help.ill keep posting on my progress....
dont ad ANY power adder.. nitrous.. turbo.. whatever.. unless you can afford the financial impact and down time of blowign up the tranny or motor.. as with ANY serious power adder.. the car may simpoly not be able to handle it..
