So last night at the track I noticed my bottle pressure gauge wasnt reading, yet the nitrous was working... very well.. There's no clogs or anything in the way of the hole. What can be causing it? Did I get a bad one?

UPDATE: When disconnecting the nitrous line I found that air was coming from the hole beneath the gauge. Do I need to plug this up or is this gauge a lemon? I didnt drill nor make that hole. Pic below.

remove the fitting and mount the gauge DIRECTLY to the nitrous feed line (right off of the bottle) air up and see if the gauge reads.. if it does its just an issue with the fitting and nto the gauge..

in retrospect that probably wont work since the line is 4an and the fitting is PROBABLY 1/8 npt

just see if you can DIRECTLY hook up the gauge ANYWHERE on the system.. i think that the threading on the solonoid is 1/8 npt with a adapter to 4an.. you could remove the adapter hook up the gaugeactivate the system (disconect the fuel end of it first or you will run SUPER rich) and just see if the gauge spikes up..
