no dash lights

so i was driving home and my dash lights and my air control lights went out, all my gauges and controls work, my signal lights come on and my high beem light comes on but the lights that light up the speedo tach and temp are all not lit up

any ideas?

Have you checked the fuses..?

I had the same problem. I was changing the ashtray bulb and must have shorted a fuse. It's a 15A. Try swapping another 15A into the slot with the busted fuse and double check to see if it works.

is this about the new hatch ya got from tom? If so, Its the dimmer switch. Surprised he didn't tell ya.

the dimmer switch i saw it had the guage hooked up to it is it a short or what?

i got like half the car tore apart right now lol

yea man, its prob a short. Try to rewire it to the power outlet. Don't know why he wired it to the dimmer switch. Prob so it goes on whenever the lights go on.

well i unhooked the boost guage and checked the fuses and now i get to track all the wires to check them, s**t happens i guess

ok so i switched switches from my other car and the dash lights worked but I figured since tom had the turbo light connected to it it burnt the switch up, so i gotta hook that up to somethin else, and get a new switch'

i got a new dimmer switch and now its fine, weird it just started blinking on the way home and then didnt come back on
