so first it was the dimmer switch then my headlight switch now when i go to swap my headunit from my old civic to my new one, it doesnt turn on, no lights no noises nada, but if i take it back to my old civic hook it up bam it turns on. I checked the fuses, the wires look fine i dont know what the problem could be. but if its not gonna work how do i rewire the stereo to get power and work functional like one should

thankyou

fuses are good all around

and an in wire fuse? the wires are all covered up dont think they've been touched

my bro suggested bad ground or even bad hot wire
but i dont know how to test all this stuff

its basically idiot proof i think.... the adapter hooks right up and it was in my old car for like... over 2 years and it hooks right up to my other civic

so you checked all the fuses including the ones that don't say radio

like maybe the cigarette lighter fuse

if the harness is still completely intact 9 out of 10 it is a fuse

check em all
