I had a 93 lx

but just yesterday I bought a 93 prelude. So the cars dirty as f*ck right now (and thats no lie!)...but a few days of cleaning and it'll be hotness. The wheels are staying through the winter..since theyre not THAT bad. Heh. The pearl white paint will stay through the winter and I may keep it this color and go with cf accents or just paint the whole thing. There's a stock spoiler for it..but it's in the backseat right now. Engine wise...meh. As of right now it's an F22a1 with an h23a1 head and cai. But after winter i'm getting an h22) So I have a few plans for it...and now I just gotta go about buying everything as the money comes. =)

werd .... i dont see how an H22 head (which is DOHC) is going to fit on an F22 anything (SOHC) unless it was the infamous 90-93 JDM F22B DOHC

Yeah I think the guy was lieing out his a** when he told you that was what it was.... :???:

Otherwise have fun with it.... With the right mods those cars can be pretty fun and nice looking.... :ok:

The motor that was in the car when I got it was a JDM DOHC F22B, that the previous owner had swapped in. Upon removing the head, I discovered several bent valves. I had a bare H23 head, so thats what started this project in the first place.

nice sandy, it'll be cool once you get done with it. and the only diffrence between the H22/H23 block and the F22 block is that the sleaves in the F22 are floating where the H22 is stronger, you can however get a guide to reinfornce the F22 block. The bolt patterns are the exact same. With the H23 head on an F22a bloack it is basically just an F22b which is the JDM engine. You also need to run a H22/23 Cam belt cine it is a DOHC and a bit longer.

OR it might be that few people here are interested in putting F-series or H-series motors in their Civics... Therefore they don't read about it often, therefore they have little knowledge on F and H series.

I'm sure that there are few people on here interested in swapping an F-series block with an H-series head into their Civics.
