Hello,
I began hearing a noise while driving today. While it is no where near as loud as a plane taking off....that would be the best way to describe the type of noise. It seems to be happening only in gear, once I am at 40 mph or more. It seems to stop if I press clutch and put car in neutral or if I reduce speed.
Today, in Boston it is rather warm for December and very damp and wet.
What kind of noise could this be?
Also, this Honda has 122,000 miles. Two owners, including me.
Recently installed new timing belt, brakes, tires, cleaned clutch, new oil every 3k, new thermostat, radiator flush.
daily driver, in the city. Great car .. except for this noise.
Also, the noise is not constant. It happens in short intervals.
Thank you!
