Was looking around for a project and came across some Nomex/Aramid fabric. I really like the look of square quilted flat fabrics in interiors so I was wondering what other people think.
This was the only photo I could find, it's an Audi concept car but I think it demonstrates what I was thinking.
Issues I can think of with this:
1 - Using a light enough nomex so as to not have a lot of bulk.
2 - s**t I don't know how to use a sewing machine to quilt it.
3 - What to place in between the sheets for that slight pillow look to each square.
Keep in mind this is for my DC5, I don't remember what my civic had for a door panel... Somebody post up a 6th gen door panel please.
