noob question - shift knob/boot alignment

I bought an aftermarket shift knob (nothing fancy just an aluminum honda one) and it comes with the locking nut. I also have the ctr boot.

How do you get the boot to stay attached to the bottom of the knob so it doesn't slide down all the time? And how do you align the knob straight (the H pattern?)

sorry for the noob question...I am mechanically inclined I guess. I'm sure the answer is simple...

edit: for 92-95 in case you didn't catch the side =]

as for the H emblem not lining up, you need align the H the way you want it, then tighten the nut up to the shift knob, if that makes sense.

as for the shift boot, mine sags down because of the aftermarket knob i got, dont really know how to fix it.

Just get a short shifter and slap that b***h on. It should look nice after that. Stock shifters are ehh when you put aftermarket knobs and boots on them.
