Some shots i took today of the golf.
Not much done to it yet, but next thing is coilovers, and a euro-lip for the front bumper. and puttin on my rims I have.

---------------------------------------------
for refrence: how low it was when I got it (it had cut springs, will be cloe to this, but nopt that low when I get coilovers:

and the wheels:

previous owner did a front end swap with a jetta, and put a badgeless grill on it. its also chipped by the neuspeed p-chip.

they would, but they arent going on until I get rid of the wheel gap.

wheels larger than stock look bad at stock ride height, you need the fender lines to be close ot the wheel lip to look good. so when the new suspension comes in, on go the wheels.

not even close ;)

Im an ex-vw owner, as well.. what yr is your Jolf?
JMO, but unless you are going to constantly change ride-height, why not just go with a nice set of Koni yellows, and some Jamex springs or something. Maybe even get a 60/60 cup kit? They ride excellent, and are a good drop for the Mk3s.
Anyhoo, nice score!

2.0 ABA motors are quite dependable. (pssstt.. they can handle a ton of boost on a boner stock bottom ends, too ;) ! )

its a 1998.... you havent lived (or driven) through a New Hampshire winter, have you? that is whay I would want coilovers. I could stand nice and low in the summer, but raise it a bit for the winter.
