Not a new girl, but I'm back with a new to me civic

Figured I would come back and reintroduce myself. I have an 2008 LX Coupe (FG1) that has been my daily and my baby, but recently I have been really yearning for a project car. Found a good deal on a few EJ's in town but most of them were beat, and way over priced. Finally found an EJ1 that was in amazing condition, straight body, all original panels and paint, and now she's home. My first plan is to replace the headlights and tail lights and the TypeR badge (smh). I'm excited to be back and learning this generation. Here's my two babies

No it's painted black using what appears to be house paint and a brush. And you can see the red peeking through so they painted over perfectly fine factory paint :'(

Plan is to wrap this hood with gloss black vinyl and eventually replace with carbon fiber.

And thanks for the welcome back everyone! The weekend plans for the ricemobile are a full interior and exterior cleaning, replacing the headlights, removing all the scary aftermarket shady wiring, oil change, change the MTF, replace timing belt and water pump, flush brake lines, check pads and shoes, swap wheels and grease the sunroof track. I'm basically assuming that the car has been neglected maintenance wise.

its always better to assume that and do it all yourself and no that all the maintenance is up to date and done correctly.
i do this why every car ive ever bought.
