You need it for the car to function properly. Just wait til you get the wideband and then replace it.

I want to put a Vada Energy (vadaenergy[dot]com) MAX-1400 HHO converter kit on my 2006 civic. The kit comes complete with one EFIE specified for use with that kit. It mentiones however that if the car has more than 1 pre cat 02 sensor, aditional EFIE's will need to be purchased per o2 sensor for Optimal preformance.

My question then is, How many O2 sensors do I have in my 2 Door 2006 Honda Civic EX (NOT Si).

Does that include any O2 sensors that might exist in the intake manifold / Air intake as well as the exhaust manifold?
