im buidling a d16y8 for boost and heard that i will have to use a obd1 dizzy becaues im using a obd1 ecu. is this true or false? i'll be tuning with hondata s300

That is incorrect. The only thing you will need is an obd2 to obd1 jumper harness, an obd1 chipped ecu or s300 unit & the proper injector clips to run your injectors.
