obd2b-obd1 question

When I hook up the obd2b-obd1 conversion harness, will I have to do anything else besides just plug it in and go; or do I need to change anything under the hood or anywhere in the car?
I have a 00 civic si.

no you dont need to do anything under the hood. just plug it up and hook up the ecu and your good
