Objects in the road= Broken SiR Lip

I was coming home from a friends last night about 3:30am and I hit something in the left hand lane and I have no clue what in the hell it was. luckily i drove over it with my left tire and didnt straddle it or I would have put a hole in the oil pan. Heres the damage. Hopefully I can fix it and it really wont be noticable. I also took her to a carwash to get all the salt off.

bondo works miracles. I smacked something in the road once, nailed a whole right through the lip. Made a new lip pratically.

damn that sucks...i hate s**t in the road...kids that live near my area put fat ass rocks in the middle of the road for fun...i almost hit one the size of a soccer ball...i swear if i catch one of those fools in the act im beatin the s**t out them...anyways hope you can get it fixed...

i honestly think that it was a rock about the size of a brick but i am not really sure what it was. im still pissed about it. its only 3 months old (to me that is).

it needs to be cleaned more than anything. we just had snow and its really dirty.

just said it looks like one, didn't say it is one, just replace it with a cheap one its not worth buying another one, just to break it again, and your looks cracked beyond repair, but people always work miracles with bondo, jb weld, bandaids, superglue, bubble gum and other s**t

that sucks, those lips are usually badass, mine fell off and i drove over it once and it still looked pretty decent

you can epoxy or fiberglass it from the back but you will prob still see the crack. you could bondo and paint it, but i know your not supposed to paint those lips

ill prob expoxy, bondo, or jb weld the back. the crack is pretty clean and when i pushed it back together it was really hard to see the crack. so thats what im hoping for when i try to fix it.

yea my Type R lip met the same fate just recently so I fixed it up last night with some fiberglass just need to paint it now.
