Odd rear quarter panel.

So I picked up this 95 cx Hatch about a week ago and pretty much everything is fine with it except for the drivers side quarter panel..the molding line is crooked and a bit skinnier than it should be. Just wondering what you guys think it is? I'm guessing they bondo-ed it or something. Any ideas and or ways to go about fixing this? Thanks

Certainly looks like someone re-did it at some point and had a lazy eye because damn that is crooked as hell!
The lines don't even come close to matching up.

Take your fist and knock on the body panels abd if there is bondo it will sound different...

The wheel well looks a little odd too- the curve is not even starting at the level of the molding line. I'll bet someone welded a new piece on from a different car. (But why would anyone go through all the trouble of welding and finishing when the panel doesn't match?) Nice looking car overall though!

Yeah the wheel well is a bit weird, its not fully circular like it should be. I'll try knocking on it listening for the different sound tomorrow. & Thanks! Although the previous owners oversprayed the skirts and the OEM little spoiler. I'm fixing that tomorrow
