OEM CD Player problem

can anyone help we with getting a anti-theft code for an OEM 99 Si cd player?

i got a player used from a friend of a friend.....they said i needed was a code for it, and all i needed to do was to go to the Dealership and they would give it to me...well i went and they said they could not give me a code for it, unless i prove i own the car that the radio belongs in.

if anyone knows any solutions to this problem PLEASE HELP!!!!

call a bunch of dealerships over the phone. they need the serial number from the back of the unit. Tell them that u are the original owner and that u bought it from another dealership. thats exactly what i did for my 93 Accord SE BOSE radio.

I bought a used Si deck online and just brought it into Honda and they gave me the code.

I tihnk some peopel who work at Honda who are on here might be willing to help you though.

I also just walked into my local dealership and asked them. I explained that I bought the CD player from a junkyard and they had no porblem giving me the code.
