Kawasaki Zephyr 550. Air cooled inline four from the GPZ550 put into a better frame with bigger brakes, better suspension and better looks.

Already has Koni adjustable rear suspension. In the mail are K&N individual filter pods to boost throttle response and a little more power. Coming soon, re-jet the carbs and an exhaust system for a total boost of 15hp over the stock 55.

It's an aftermarket high rise bar, which is coming off to be replaced with the stock bar which looks hella better. That chrome rack is coming off too.

11k miles and I paid $1400. Old man owned it and his wife made him sell it. Hence the low low price.

IMO it;d look much better if...
it had a different headlight that sat lower in the front.
removed that chrome piece from the back
did something about those horrific turn signals and those mirrors
remove the chrome handles and other chrome things... matte black would be so much nicer

yeah the turn signals are gonna go. And as said the chrome rack is going byebye. As for the chrome on the exhaust, even the Kerker I'm picking up is shiny, nothing I can do about that as I'm certainly not going to paint over a brand new $600 exhaust system.

finding a bike is easy. Just check local shops, the newspapers, sometimes even Ebay has some good deals. Overall it's more than worth it. I found this one for $1400 and it's worth closer to double that. You just have to search for the deals out there.

best time to buy a bike is in december too cause its raining so its a buyers market cause people dont get as much interest as they do in the summer
