Normally I wouldn't have gotten all Sony audio equipment, but I got a really good deal on everything. Not bad for only having 30 bucks invested into it, excluding the Sony head unit, hopefully sometime next week I'll have the front speakers replaced. Not a excessive amount of bass, but enough for me.

The new 6x9s

The head unit

What I'll be using to power my front speakers

Is there another subwoofer on the other side of that box?

that box is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY to big for that speaker.. I'll bet that bass sounds muddy as FOOK.

Cut that box in half ASAP.

Nice pick up for cheap though!!! =)

The box is cut off a couple of inches past the sub from the inside 8) It's the factory system from the Xplod edition Ford Focus.

8) btw does anyone know how to wire up two amps in one car?
same as you would one. but I would put another fuse in line for the other amp.......

So....could I just split off the power like you said, split off the remote, ground it and what about the rca's?

you cant split the power cable, you threaten your amps if you do that. you can however split the rca's and the remote

you can split everything.

so you should run a 2-4 guage from the battery to the trunk, get a split fused power distribution block to split the wire and power your amps, the remotes can go to whereever teh original remote came from.

What is your total wattage RMS to the amps? If you are running under 1000W RMS, the 4GA will do just fine. be sure to get a split fuse PDB so each amp will have its own fuse to protect it.

And have fun running speaker wire all the way up front to the door speakers...

oh and I would also get at least a .5 farad cap.. With 2 amps, and your lil honda altenator, your light will be dimming on bass hits and intense audio passages... =)

Not to support wal mart, but they have a dual amp kit made by scoche with all the distros for like $30 bucks. Way cheap if you are running just a little something. You hit up a shop your fused distro will cost that alone
