ohm is an impedance rating. The subwoofers resistance to to the wattage being pushed in. The lower the impedence the less resistence it has

technically but it all depends on what you are going for. the lower the ohm, the less resistance there is, which equals more power. Depending on how you wire your subs will determine how much power they are going to be fed.

the gauge wire isnt going to determine the ohms. get me the specs of the amp and the specs of the sub and I can tell you at what set ups, what amount of watts you'll be able to run to the sub.

it all depends on the amp which ohms to run.....u have to read the rating for the amp to make sure which ohms to run

that amp u have isnt powerful at all u dont need 4 gauge wire to run it.....8 is still prolly way more than enough lol.....go to ebay and look up speaker wire diagrams and look how to run 4 ohms on 1 or how ever amount of subs u got

if the subwoofer is 4 ohm and the amp puts out 150 watts at 4 ohm (bridged?) then you are going to get 150 watts.
