hmm never saw someone run the line like that. did it come in a kit? or did you just choose to run it from there? most kits have the feed line including mine have the feed like coming from the back of the back of the block and use a fitting that replaces the oil pressure sending unit( most have a outlet for the sending unit also. I am not how the pressure is coming out the head where you have it. I know they use the back of the block because its ment to read oil pressure so there is deff pressure running threw the line. when coming from the back most kits tell you to run to the right of the motor when looking at it head on.

you can try it out, Iam not sure if it will work. it very well might, but i havent seen a setup yet that used that plug for an oil feed line. if i were you i would use the pressure sending unit hole in the back of the block, since that is a proven way to lube your turbo.

if you pull the plug on your oil pan oil pours out, but theres not enough pressure to send oil to the turbo. iam just not sure that there is enough oil pressure coming from there. like i said i have never seen a kit use that before, and iam sure if it worked someone would have used it since its easier then going behind the block.

hmmm... it's really close to the vtec solonoid which could cause problems with the oil pressure in the head and cause vtec to not engage...

it also could starve the head for oil and create problems there as well.

vtec heads need all the oil pressure they can get

it would probably be safe to use the normal plug located in the rear of the block

the entire reason that toda makes "vtec killer" cams exhist is to keep a steady oil pressure in the head and they are usually combined with boost.....
