oil leak engine or tranny?

i have a leak from somewhere and i cant figure it out. theres oil around the pass side axle where it goes in the tranny, and on the crossmember by that side and it runs on the shift linkage. you can also see it on the rear mount. pretty much all around that general area. is there a seal where the axle goes in the tranny? after explaining it it sounds like its from there.

yes there is a seal for your axles its called an output shaft seal. sounds like its leaking and needs to be replaced

Yup thats exactly what needs to be replaced. Mine leaked from there too and that was the fix.

Is there oil on top of your transmission too? If so, it might be something else. If not, than disregard this.

touch it, see it, feel it, and smell it. determine what it could be. next, degrease the bad area, next day, check to see where the leak is starting at. follow the cookie crumb trail....
