Oil leak - very fast

I have Honda Civic EX 2000 2D, it is leaking oil from top of motor (see pictures). When I start it, I can see the oil dripping on ground. I had oil warning the other day and got it topped up but it is again losing oil very fast.

Can I fix it myself, please let me know how to take care of this.

that is the vtech solenoid.. there is a gasket in there.. the gasket is likely shot.. just make sure of EXACTLY where the oil is leaking from.. also know that once you pull that thing off oil will leak more (during the repair)

do NOT drive the car around while it is leaking.. if oil gets low enough you can really f**k up the car..

looks like the gasket is show on the vtec solenoid. get a new one it should be easy to replace theres only 3 bolts that hold it on

what you need is part #11

yep, go to honda and get part 11 (vtec spool valve gasket) and ask if they know the torque # for the 3 bolts that hold it on so you dont over tighten it.

Leak fixed. The O-ring was cracked. No leaks so far after replacing the O-ring.
