Went to change the oil today( bought the car yesterday) and found the pan gasket leaking and leaking at the drain plug. Going to put new pan and gasket on. Does the exhaust need to be dropped to change it? Any other tips while I'm in there?

Yes, you need to loosen the exhaust at the cat to clear enough space to move the oil pans. Make sure to install a new crush washer on the oil pan & torque each pan bolt to the correct ft. lbs. That's all I can think of at the moment.

Thank you

Does anyone have the sequence and torque spec for the oil pan?

I deleted your other thread and moved your question here where it belongs being of the same topic.

Try searching. I found it using Google in under 2 minutes. This ones of a 92-95 but Im pretty sure the order and torque spec is the same.
