Oil pan gasket

I own a 1995 Civic, and I will be replacing the oil pan gasket on it. My question is how to do it.

Can I unbolt the heat sheild and the headers, unbolt the bracket on the A pipe, and unhook the the first pair of hangers so I can have room to remove the oil pan? Removing the A pipe seems too exspensive, since I have to replace everything I remove from it like bolts and gaskets.
