oil pressure gauge install

well, i've searched around the boards but i'm still a little confused.....i read around about how ur not suppose to mount the oil sender behind the block? what am i suppose to do exactly then? any help would be appreciated, thanx

you are supposed to mount it on the fire wall attached to the block with braided line with slack.. the reason is if you mount the sendor right on the block the vibration from the motor and suspension could break it off... dont listen to anyone who tells you its ok to mount it on the block.. its not.. do it the rigth way.. good luck..
