Oil type

Last month I bought a 97 civic ex swapped with a fully built GSR cars full completed motor work wise. I can't seem to find the correct oil to use It burned through both 1030 and 1040. Is 2050 to strong for this type of motor? It had a b18c1 in it with an LS integra tranny

preferably mobil1 5w30 is the type to use for a b18c1

Sounds like it must be leaking, or need valve seals/guides, or rings are shot.

Does it smoke?

Whats the mileage on the engine?

Have u done a compression test?
