do they not have a remote lead at all?

Im guessing they are constant on then ... in which case you needa put a swtich on your power cable or you will drain your battery for sure.

What amp DOESNT have a remote lead? And if they dont have RCA, you run line level (speaker wire) from your HU to the amp instead of the speaker, then from teh amp to the speakers.

A kill switch would work but thats kind of ghetto, I find it hard to believe there isnt a remote on...........

well there both my fathers old amps.. ones from 84' the others 85', he said they hit way harder then the 900watt rockford amp i got so i wanna try them out.. and Joe where should i be running the Line Level wire to?? heres a few pics of what i got to work with.. one is still missing the power plug i have to either find it or take it apart and figg whats what.. you can see i only have left/right for the speakers, then Positive and ground, from doing a little research i found that the Input thing is what the RCA's plug into..

A pic of the Din plug id need for the RCa's...

I think you are just going to be disappointed with the results. Back in the 80's 5% THD was acceptable. I sincerely doubt that they had MOSFET technology. Maybe FET or JFET.
