93 Del Sol trade for my Jetskis? THOUGHTS PLEASE!

okay, so i've decided to sell my two jetskis on a double trailer for $3500.
I'm just waiting on the right buyer now.

My plans were to sell the jetskis, and buy myself a nice, already fixed up civic.

WELL, I was on craigslist, and GUESS WHAT I FIND!

I find a nice (primered light green) 5th gen Civic Hatchback shell for $1400 obo,
AND I find a FULL k20a3 swap for $1200 firm, that has absolutely nothing wrong with it..

the swap includes:
long block
tranny (5 speed manual)
full engine harness
ecu
driver side motor mount &bracket, rear &tranny bracket
both axles (still on spindles with intermediate shaff)
alturnator
ac compressor
power steering
distributor
starter
front sway bar
clutch assembly &slave cylinder
intake manifold
throttle body with the cable
exhaust manifold

I put 2 and 2 together and s**t MY PANTS!!

I sell my jetskis for $3500,
buy the 94 Hatch shell for $1200 (give or take)
and buy the k20a3 complete swap for $1200,
and I still have $1100 left!!! just enough to do a little playing around ;D

GOD, I hope I find the right buyer for my jetskis..
Cause quite frankly, I do believe this would be one badass setup!

for my first Civic, I wouldn't complain about the a3 not one bit.. plus, I might be able to turn around and sell the car for at least $4500. But that's not why I might do this.

Yeah, I REALLY hope I get my jetskis sold..

Only thing is, I would have to find a friends house I could keep the car at,
cause I still live with my parents, and they have already said that
I'm not going to have a non-running project car just sitting in the back yard
while i go to school and work. So, we'll see how everything pans out.

If everything falls into place, I will most deffinately start up a build thread and update yall every chance i got.

K swaps are a pain in the d**k. I'm not trying to sway you away from it, but it was rough building my buddies EG with a K24 block with a K20 head.. Felt like it took FOREVER haha.

thats wassup. i hope u sell ur jetskis cause thats deff a good deal for the swap. Are u doing all the work urslef? I just recently came by some money and i bought myself a catback exhaust intake and headers, also spoiled myself a bit and bought some shoes and some clothe, and of course to move out my moms house cant wait till my taxes come in and buy a flat screen.

its a k-series yes, but its only 160hp. Its a start though. good luck selling the jets man

A2 all day. 6th speed isnt what its cracked up to be though. Still wish i had 5
