4.645 laws were passed every hour, 24 hours a day, for 365 days. That's 40,697 laws passed in the US. This included everything from texting while driving to tanning bed use for teenagers.

Interesting, but how valid is your source? That's a hell of a lot of laws.. Not to mention 4.645 x 24 x 365 = 40,690.2... not 40,697

Did you know that 94.2% of people believed a fact without checking the source within the past month; and that 100% of the previous comment was pulled directly from my ass?

Now I'm not saying that you're making stuff up to mislead us. I know you better than that, but are you sure your source is correct and it's not just posting some crap?

No.. there was no intention to burn Jason. I trust Jason's word and look at him as one of the more reputable members on this site. I was just wondering what his source was and if IT was reputable.

lol, I think my comments came across in an offensive way when I didn't mean them to at all.

There's no mention of how many laws were abolished in '09. Maybe, in sum total, we now actually have less laws. Just a thought.
