Well now i'm thinking about going boost so im dropping the compression in my type r just a bit and going with a weisco 10:1. Thinking about spraying for the time being till i can come up with the cash to buy a turbo kit. So whats ya'lls opinion on this? Do you think all motor i will feel a loss in power going with the 10:1?

It depends on your goals. 10:1 is still kinda high.

Don't worry about the nitrous if you are definately going turbo.

I was just gonna spray till i saved up for cash for a turbo kit. Would i feel a difference in all motor for the time being? Would it make good power though once turboed?

I really couldn't tell you. It will make less power at a lower compression but I don't know if you will be able to feel it only dropping it that much. It will make good power but it would still make good power stock with a turbo. The thing with the type-r is that its not as much room for error.

I'm just trying to figure out how to rebuild it. Kind of thinking bout building it back stock and then saving to start on another" boost" project. I really don't want to change the compression for the fact that it is a typ r.
