Opinions on my GSR build?

My civic is slow.

Let me start with what I have and then let y'all know what I want to do. Inputs and advice is MUCH appreciated.

Goals, 12s NA GSR (but remember it is currently my dd)

What I have,

B18C
LSD Tranny
AEM Short Ram Intake
DC 4-1 One piece Header
eBay test pipe and catback
Skunk2 Intake Manifold
Skunk2 72mm Throttle Body
440cc RC Injectors
AEM Fuel Rail
AEM Fuel Regulator
Walbro Fuel Pump
p28 ecu

Street tuned by my local shop.

Now that I got pretty much all the bolt ons I want to move onto internals but dont want to go crazy because she is still my dd.

What I want,
Ferrea Springs, Valves, Retainers
AEM Cam Gears
CTR Pistons (unless I should get something else)
And some type of cams. Was thinking CTR?

Then dyno tune.

So I'm pretty much asking is that a good setup y'all think? And what CTR pistons and cams or should I get something else. Just trying to get some advice/opinions. Thanks everyone.

Running 12's with a NA gsr? Sounds like fun lol good luck, my buddies EK coupe with a semi built b18c ran a mid 14 last week. What car is it in?

An ek coupe. But I was talking about on slicks haha. My mechanic ran my car at 14.7 I believe a couple months ago but I haven't had the extra cash to do much more to it.

It also depends on what trans you're going with.

You'll have to be careful with the CTR pistons, it's been done but you'll be running in the high 12's of compression, definitely don't get your head milled or block decked. As for cams CTR cams will be a waste, run something like skunk2 pro 1's and skunk2 valve springs, you'll have to do some research on titanium retainers and see if you actually want to use them.
Also if I were you I'd bore it out a little.
I hope your exhaust is a full 2.5in which means get rid of that dc header (unless its the jdm dc header) and pick up an smsp header or something like that.

Now if you were in a light waith CX hatch or sumthin like that I'd say you probably be in the 12's but since its probably an ex coupe you'll want to get the head ported and polished While the valvetrains out and after that strip as much weight out of ur car as possible and u should have 12's

I'm Assuming the LSD trans is type r

I wish. ITR trannys are so expensive and dont really trust buying one of someone (due to buying and knowing people that bought bad transmissions before). But defiantly in the future will be looking into one. Or if a miracle happens and I get a lot of money, building my own transmission! Lol

Oh no the CTR's are a great choice, you just gotta be really careful with them. Just google 12 second GSR and look at all the setups that popup. That will give you a hint of what you'll need. It'll be an expensive road buddy

Well it would really benefit your time because of the shorter gears, making your goal more achievable.

Then get one from a shop. Yeah they're expensive, but you get what you pay for :what:
