There is no cheap install on an alarm. I would charge $100.00 on the side for a basic alarm

I did mines myself.

It isn't hard, just follow the instruction manual.

Use these things and it will be a piece of cake:

civic helms manual
alarm instruction manual
multimeter
soldering iron
clubcivic/honda-tech/super-honda forumboard SEARCH function
http://www.the12volt.com
and some patience to study all the stuff 'bout the install

But if you do at least you have a true tech services printout to go by than the bullshit 12v site

it's not a BS site.

My electronics knowledge was 0,0. I learned everything from the Net and the civic service manual.

Installing a alarm is easy as hell with the service manual.

maybe for a honda. The problem is the honda is straight foward. Still do not recommend putting in your own alarm. But what are you going to do on five wire keyless entry system, or voltage sensitive systems. Or f**k a sleeper ford model.
The more cars change the harder it gets to work on them. And the more dangerous for diy.
Especially from an unauthorized site.
I am a member of the 12v site as well. I still wouldnt advise anybody to take on an alarm.
Even though you did have the right tools handy, good on you there.
I mean even the basic deck installs I see it all the time. People who swear they know what they are doing.
Pull the deck chop the harness then attempt to wire it.
9/10 home installs are flawed in one way or another.
Why do you think installers have to be certified?
