hi guys, so i need to order a pair of rotos, pads, and a front left CV axel, i am trying to order from this place in ontario, but she said the CV axel and brake pads are not compatible with my car, i was told the american EX is the same as the canadian SI. but the woman says no.

any ideas?

Everywhere I've read, says what you are claiming is correct. Canadian Si = US EX. I'm sure someone will say that I am wrong and giving you the wrong information, so I'll let them confirm or deny. I can't seem to look up Honda part numbers for Canadian models to cross reference.

thanks for the reply, because there is no SI option on the primechoice website, only EX, and she said something about my car being made in the USA? makes no sense.the rotors they have which saves me like 45$ for a pair, says compatible with EX-SI, but the axel just says EX, so do the brake pads.

I believe the EX had the same size rotors as the Si and even the Integra GSR (iirc) so they would all work across the board. The axles would connect to a different trans EX = D16 trans Si = B16 trans. This is all speaking in terms of U.S. however. The brake pads I'm not sure why they'd be all that different, I think maybe the caliper piston is a hair bigger than the EX when you look at the Si?

hmm that makes sense. its a shame, when my mechanic did my right axel, it was 118, i was hoping i could have gotten the left for that cheaper rice at primechoice auto for 50-60 lol.

Enter your VIN at online Honda parts suppliers to find part numbers that you seek. Then use the part numbers to search for deals in Canada.
