Ok some background info...
My father and my brother and I have been working on, and restoring Chevy Camaros for people all over the SOCAL area. We have had so many Camaros, its rediculous. We do some work on Chevelles, and Novas, mainly anything GM and we will work on it, but 1st Gen Camaros are what we do best.
This is a 1969 Chevy Camaro RS.
This Camaro appears stock, that is what I like about it, the interior and exterior is original, and I like to keep it that way. It is a 4 speed, loaded with options. The 396 under the hood is anything but stock, it is far from it. Everything has been changed on it, the motor has been bored .60 over, or .40 over. The heads are ported and polished, so has the intake manifold, so they match up perfectly, it produces well over 600 horse power, on DOT slicks, it ran 11.3 at over 120 mph, it had some awesome top end speed. It now has a 12 point roll cage installed, and cut offs for the car installed off the rear. This car is very loud, its exhaust system is very simple, it has Hooker Super Comp. Coated headers, that run into Dynomax Bullit Race mufflers. Thats it, its almost as loud as open headers, this car is registered, and I do take it out now and then, but thanks to the camshaft, being the vacum hog it is, it messes up my brakes. It has a Danna rear end, with 4.10 gears, so the RPM's scream.
This next car is my daily driver, it is a 1969 Chevy Camaro Z-28.
This is a real Z-28, with the original 302 Chevy motor. It has aftermarket heads, and we cannot find out who the hell makes them because they where in the trunk when we picked up the car, so they are unknown, we gave them a very heavy port job, the intake manifold has been matched much like the 69 Rally Sports intake was. It has a Bracket race camshaft, everything on it is pretty much high performance, but it isnt as built as the Rally Sport. Off the headers I have 3 inch dual exhaust, that run into Flowmaster Series 40 mufflers that are cut off before they hit the rear axle, it has posi with gears, the whole care is built for street / strip, its almost as built as the Rally Sport, only not as loud. it has a Hurst 4 speed transmission, and on some BFG Tires as seen in the photo, she pulled a 12 second pass at Carlsbad. Not bad.
See that beast, looks sweet.
Here is another photo of it, that red camaro that you see is one of my dads, Its a 1969 Chevy Camaro SS clone. It has a 427 under the hood, but is mostly stock, its his daily driver, 4 speed, its tame, its a 13 second Camaro, not built up much at all, stock cam and all, all we did to it beside the paint and body work as add 2.5 inch manifold back exhaust, and some Spintech mufflers, has 12 bolt posi with 3.73 gears, its a tame car.
I am here looking for a Civic, I have kinda lost some hearing, or started to, my Doctor said it is car related, I should stay away from it for a few months... So this is killing me, I drove it today, and It hurt bad, So I need a Civic, quiet, and good on gas, and reliable. So enjoy, ill post photos of the Civic when I get it.
